chrome just crashed outta nowhere because I tried to use "embed code" option here. I'm so done I'm going to use firefuckingfox then, it lags less

Okay let's think about it. Why browser mobile versions are so lame? I'm not saying that I can't see anything, because well, my screen is.. fine. It's just that many apps have such terrible optimization. Firefox is hard to use when you switch to desktop mod, here chrome wins btw. I was just watching yt stuff, then I opened chrome and just AHHHH it crashed like 4 times

Edit: I use brave now, we'll see...

Imma using Vivaldi.
Its doing me well so far in blocking adds. It has let me embed yt-videos on NG-posts without crashing. And it has an option to keep (youtube-)videos playing when I turn my screen off.

But yeah, in general, good optimization seems to be a thing of the past.
Our hardware has become great (when it comes to specs, not build quality...) but our software is gradually turning to more into shit each day ..

Fellow Brave user I see^^ I use Brave too and I like it a lot due to its speed and ability to block ads, but only on browser because I frankly detest mobile versions of the sites I want to visit. Browser master race!

It could be a hardware limitation. Phones are less powerful than computers in terms of things like storage space and computing power. Websites that run ads often prioritize the ads over the performance, so that in conjunction with the device it's on could often result in poor performance.

I came across it in the appstore some years ago. When just looking for a browser on my phone that had an addblocker built in.
It served me pretty well. And had some suprisingly nice features when looking through the settings.

Yeah it's better now, lol I use duckduckgo too, but like just when I'm in Tor... Yeah brave is much cooler than default chrome idk... And orange elements look cool
